MANAGEMENT
LEON VERMAAKIs the CEO of Telesure Investment Holdings. He holds a B.Comm degree, as well as an MBA from the University of Pretoria. He also holds a PhD from City University in London.
He started his career as a market researcher and management consultant, working for a Pretoria based firm, LHA Management consultants. After completing his PhD he joined Santam Ltd in 1993.
Leon joined the Telesure Group in 2002.
TOM CREAMER
Is the managing director of Telesure Investment Holdings (Short-Term Insurance).
He has studied Strategic Marketing and Journalism. In 2010, Tom attended the Harvard Business School for a course in Leadership for Senior Executives.
Tom joined Telesure Investment Holdings in 1988 and since then, has been instrumental in developing and establishing its short-term insurance brands.
HANNES WILKEN
Is the CFO of Telesure Investment Holdings. He is a Chartered Accountant and also holds an MBL from UNISA.
He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 1993 he joined Santam Ltd and in 2004 the Doves Group.
Hannes joined the Telesure Group in 2007.
CONNIE KRUGER – EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CORPORATE SUPPORT
Connie Kruger is the Executive Director of Corporate Support at Telesure Investment Holdings.
He has been with the group since 1979 and has been responsible for all its IT requirements since day 1.
Over the years his portfolio grew to include Telecommunications, Pricing, Underwriting, Quality Assurance, Training, and HR.
ANTON DE SOUZA
Anton de Souza, Managing Director of Financial Services at Telesure Investment Holdings, is a qualified Chartered Accountant who also holds an MBA, from the University of Pretoria.
He started his career doing his articles with KPMG. After which he joined Nedbank for a career spanning 15 years, in this time he held positions from Head of Product to Chief Operating Officer for Nedbank Retail. Post this he spent two years as the Lead Partner Financial Service at Ernst and Young (South Africa).
Anton joined Telesure in 2007.
